Led by the Associate Vice President of Online Education and Academic Operations, our department is committed to the advancement and integration of cutting-edge educational technology, superior academic services, and a robust online curriculum that prepares our students for success in their academic and professional endeavors.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Online Education: We spearhead the strategic development and implementation of online courses and programs, assuring quality and promoting the use of innovative technologies and pedagogies.
  • Faculty Training and Development: Our commitment to educational excellence is realized through comprehensive faculty development programs offered through the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence.  Programming includes new and emerging online teaching methodologies, educational technology, and Quality Matters standards just to name a few.
  • Office of the Registrar:  Ensuring the integrity of academic records, we manage the processes of course registration, record-keeping, and the certification of graduation and licensure exam eligibility.
  • Curriculum Management: We oversee curriculum development with a focus on timely delivery and integration of high-quality, interactive courses.
  • Academic Operations: Our department enhances and improves academic process flows, adhering to accreditation and regulatory standards, while utilizing data analytics for strategic decision-making. We support Canvas, Interfolio, Acalog, Curriculog, EXXAT/PRISM, CourseDog, YellowDig, and many other tools to facilitate academic operations and processes.
  • Educational Technology: As the business owner for various educational and operational software systems, we ensure that these tools support our institutional goals and meet the needs of our stakeholders.  Our team offers training on all levels from beginner to advanced user to ensure we are able to maximize the faculty and student experience.
