Biography

Christine Lemke, DC is the Director of Academic Operations and chair of the SCU Institutional Review Board. She joined SCU in 1998 as a faculty member of the LACC Diagnosis Department leading courses in orthopedics, neurology, and diagnosis.

Dr. Lemke has held a variety of roles within SCU over the past 27 years, including implementation of academic technology, leading program course scheduling, director of standardized patient activities for healthcare programs, and coordinator of Integrative Competency Examinations for the chiropractic program. In her time at SCU, she has led or assisted in 20+ courses, served on most committees (including IRB, IPC, and PPC), served as medical crew coordinator for over 20 major events including many of the AIDS LifeCycle events, coordinated care for dozens of other events, and has been deeply involved in curriculum and program revisions. She played a significant role in the planning that allowed SCU to adapt to COVID.  

Her current responsibilities focus on managing academic projects by working closely with academic administration and other support offices, program leaders for scheduling, faculty data and appraisal, and curriculum management, and managing academic infrastructure and support with Modern Campus Curriculum, Modern Campus Catalog, EXXAT, and Interfolio.
