Biography
Dr. Welch holds a PhD. in Neuroscience. Initially, he taught comparative vertebrate anatomy at the University of California, Riverside. He has been a tenured faculty member at Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine.
At SCU he teaches both Gross Anatomy and the Neurosciences for th MSMS program. His research interests are focused on Event-Related Potentials (ERPs) and rhythmically active networks of nerve cells called “central pattern generators” (CPGs) in the nervous system.
