Biography
Daniel Walk is an alumnus of Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU), where he received his Master of Science: Physician Assistant degree, graduated summa cum laude, and received the Clerkship Award. He is passionate about medicine and academia. Prior to PA school he spent five years in emergency medicine working as an EMT and then a Paramedic. He started doing interfacility transports on a BLS ambulance, worked his way up to the emergency room, and eventually delivering advanced life support while responding to 911 calls. His passion for hands-on skills continued into his professional career as a Physician Assistant where he works in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (surgical first-assist) and as a Wound Care Specialist both inpatient and outpatient. He is an avid reader, and his interests include philosophy, psychology, and classic literature. He is a member of the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) and the California Academy of PAs (CAPA).
