Biography

Darby Winson received a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with a minor in Social Justice from St. John's University. Additionally, she completed a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Healthcare Educators at St. Joseph's College of Maine. Since becoming a certified Physician Assistant, Darby has enjoyed working in the busy, diverse Emergency Departments of New York City and Orange County. She also has experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care and Telemedicine. Darby's passion for the Physician Assistant profession has led her to Southern California University, where she hopes to inspire and motivate each student to care for their patients with empathy, evidence-based knowledge, and cultural competence. Outside of work, Darby delights in spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and exploring the great outdoors.
