Biography

Gregory M. Chase, of Fort Worth, Texas, is a physician assistant at Kaiser Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) of San Bernardino county. He joined SCPMG in 1987 after graduating from The University of Alaska at Anchorage with a Bachelor’s degree Biology and Registered Nursing (RN). Following his graduation he moved to Southern California where he started a Emergency Nursing clerkship program, graduating the Kaiser ER program he spent the next several years in the Kaiser Anaheim of Orange County. By 1997, looking to advance his medical career, he applied for and was accepted at Western Univerity Health Sciences (COMP) in Physician Assistant Studies. Following his graduation from Western University and acceptance of his Physician Assistant Certification, he transfered to Kaiser Permanente Medical Group of San Bernardino County in Fontana where he worked until his recent retirement in the past year serving over 34 years in Emergency Medicine. He is a current member of Society Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants and California Association of Physician Assistants. Currently he is working with the humanitarian Texas Border Medical Care providing humanitarian care to those seeking asylum in the United States. In addition to his humanitarian work along the US-Mexico border, he also enjoys a career as a Assistant Professor Clinical Medicine at Southern California University Health Sciences Department of Physician Assistant Studies.
