Dr.Hooman Mir, DPM,MSci,FAPWCA is a DPM Physician by training (Board Certified in Wound Care) , an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Medical-Curriculum Consultant residing in Texas. He obtained his Medical-Degree in Podiatry Medicine at Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, along with his advanced Physician Master-Degree in Clinical Investigation at UT Health in San Antonio. After his Temple graduation, he completed his one-year surgical internship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr.Hooman continued his Post-Physician Graduate Education and Training in Healthcare Policy and Patient Safety from Jefferson Medicine in Philadelphia and recently graduated from Harvard School of Medicine Post-Physician Program in " Training to Teach Medicine" with his capstone project focusing on Diabetic Patient Education in Classification of Diabetic Wounds. While he resides in Texas with his main position as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, he has also served as a Medical Curriculum Consultant and Content-Expert at Multiple Institutes including SCUHS and as an International Medical Speakers at conferences such as Imperial Trauma Conference and International Foot and Ankle Foundation.
