Biography
Lindsey earned a BS in biology/chemistry from Manchester University and went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Florida in microbiology and cell science. During grad school, she was most drawn to subjects of microbiology pertaining to the medical field, which led her to specialize in medical microbiology and biochemistry. She conducted research focused on the microbiota of the human urinary tract and the role of these microorganisms in causing disease. Â
In addition to teaching microbiology at SCU, Lindsey has taught undergraduate students at Ross Medical Education Center and is employed as a Senior Analyst at a petroleum analysis laboratory.Â
