Sheena Patel, MSPA, PA-C holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where she led and participated in many volunteer organizations including partnerships with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Peer Health Exchange. After PA Patel's undergraduate studies, she gained patient care experiences through diverse positions and settings including physical therapy, internal medicine, general surgery, and addiction medicine. PA Patel, then, furthered her education by completing the Master of Science: Physician Assistant Program at Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU). She graduated from SCU in 2021. Afterwards, PA Patel practiced in a primary care setting before transitioning to psychiatry which is her current practice. PA Patel is excited to be at SCU again and use her passion for teaching and holistic medicine to help guide future health practitioners.
