Biography
Vaidya Sumith Kumar is an Ayurveda practitioner and academician from Kerala, India, specializing in the Basic principles and applications of Ayurveda. He obtained his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) and subsequently his Master of Ayurveda Siddhanta (M.D.) from esteemed institutions affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India. Currently, he holds the position of Associate Professor at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University in Gorakhpur, where he imparts knowledge of the Basic Principles of Ayurveda to aspiring practitioners and engages in clinical consultations.
Vaidya Sumith Kumar is pursuing a PhD in Ayurveda at the KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research, focusing on understanding Metabolic healthy obesity. His academic endeavors are supported by a robust background in teaching and research, having contributed to curriculum development and participated in various clinical trials to validate Ayurvedic treatment protocols.
His professional experience spans several prestigious institutions, where he has held roles such as Assistant Professor and Chief Coordinator of IT initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to integrating technology into Ayurvedic education. He has authored multiple publications and presented research at national seminars, emphasizing his dedication to advancing the field of Ayurveda through rigorous academic inquiry. His interests include reading, traveling, and wildlife photography, reflecting a well-rounded personality committed to professional and personal growth.
