Biography
Dr. Spiegel holds a master’s and doctorate in clinical psychology with a background in education. She has obtained state certification in Dispute Resolution and Domestic Violence. She taught at California Southern University, American University of Health Sciences, Argosy University, University of Arizona and now at SCUHS, earning an award for Outstanding Lecturer. Dr. Spiegel has earned an Excellence in Academic Advising Award for her work with students from the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). As a therapist, she has worked with both the Department of Behavioral Health and the Department of Probation in Orange County. She is passionate about empowering the underserved, especially young adults and adolescents from the foster care and probation systems, helping them to overcome incredible challenges to fulfill their potential and reach their goals.
