Abigail is the Director of the Accelerated Sciences Division at SCU. Since joining the division in 2021, her goal has been to expand course offerings to students at large needing to complete prerequisites in the natural and social sciences. A professional in higher education management with a background in adult education and learning as community development, Abigail comes from UCLA where her doctoral work focused on communities rebuilding in Mexico for inclusion post-deportation. She also comes from a background as a pharmacy technician to pay her way through her undergraduate program at the University of Texas. Her background in nontraditional education and healthcare provides her a unique perspective in supporting students in our Accelerated Sciences program.
