Biography
Dr. Alena Coleman has served as the Assistant Dean of the Chiropractic Education Department for LACC since 2020. Dr. Coleman is a 2004 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She also earned a Master's degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University in 2008.Â
Dr. Coleman has previously held various academic administration positions across the field of healthcare education including Associate Dean of Life Sciences and Foundations at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida campus, Division Chair of Basic Sciences at Life University, and Associate Dean of Clinical Program at Sherman College. She also served as the Course Designer for all programs at Life University. Â
Dr. Coleman has a passion for curriculum design and always looks for opportunities to further advance healthcare education and the Chiropractic profession.
