Biography
Ashley Larsen earned her Master's of Physician Assistant (MPA) from Loma Linda University in 2012. She is currently an NCCPA certified PA with experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care and Correctional Health. She currently practices in an Urgent Care setting outside of her role as Associate Program Director of Clinical Education at SCU. She is currently a member of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the California Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA). Ashley Larsen is also certified in ACLS and PALS. Since Ashley Larsen started at SCU in 2016 she has served as a lead instructor for several courses, co-lead for courses, guest lecturer in courses, Clinical Director and currently as the Associate Program Director of Clinical Education, ensuring that students clinical rotation year is effective and runs smoothly. Ashley Larsen loves being involved in PA Education, imparting knowledge on students, and loves to see where her students end up once they are licensed Physician Assistants.
Within the University Ashley Larsen is the chair of the Physician Assistant Comprehensive Examination (PACE) Committee and co-chair of the Accreditation Steering Committee for the PA Program. Additionally, Ashley Larsen is a member of the Safety and Compliance Committee, Curriculum Committee and Admissions Committee.
Outside of her work at SCU and clinical practice as a PA, Ashley Larsen enjoys spending time with her children and husband, being a baseball team Mom, gymnastics side line cheerleader, English horseback riding, spending time outdoors and frequently visiting Disneyland with her family! If you can't find her at SCU she is probably at Disneyland!Â
