Biography

Brandon N. Davis is a highly motivated materials science engineer with extensive experience in scientific research, experimental design, and project management. He possesses strong practical skills in implementing cutting-edge micro/nano fabrication techniques and characterizing advanced materials. Brandon has worked on the design, development, and validation of various structures and devices, making him proficient in overseeing the full product lifecycle, from technical requirement establishment to failure analysis and process improvement.

Currently serving as Staff Component Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation, Brandon supports key activities related to the procurement, qualification, and application of electrical and electronic components. He leads design reviews, vendor qualifications, and provides expertise in anomaly resolution, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. His prior role at The Aerospace Corporation involved similar responsibilities, including risk assessment, failure analysis, and the independent verification of hardware designs and processes.

Brandon holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, where he conducted research in the Amos Research Lab, focusing on multilayered thin films and device characterization. He has contributed to multiple publications in leading scientific journals and has presented his research at numerous technical conferences. His technical expertise spans UV photolithography, RF sputtering, SEM, Raman spectroscopy, and MEMS technology.

In addition to his engineering work, Brandon has also contributed to academia, serving as an adjunct lecturer, designing course content, and teaching physics and materials science at various universities. His multidisciplinary expertise makes him a valuable asset in both industry and academia.
