She began her career in laboratory genetics as a cytogenetic technologist, performing cell culture, microscopy, karyotyping and chromosome analysis.
In 2018, Mrs. Hall graduated from Long Island University with a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling. Continuing her passion for laboratory genetics, she began working as a laboratory genetic counselor for the Johns Hopkins Genomics DNA Diagnostic Lab. There, she was involved in variant interpretation and report writing for NGS and Sanger-based assays, exome sequencing analysis, test development, testing coordination, communication of complex test results, marketing and teaching.
