Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Chamith Ameresekere spent the majority of his childhood playing a variety of sports. Eventually, sports led to injuries and a lot of physical therapy visits. He came across Chiropractic after a back injury where he was intrigued by the profession. After receiving his Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Californis State University Long Beach, he took a year away from academics before beginning his Chiropractic program at SCUHS. He graduated with his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2021, and now works as the head clinician at a local clinic, and works as part-time faculty at SCU.
