My name is Cristian Zelaya. I recently started working as an adjunct lab instructor in the Accelerated Sciences Department at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier. I have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University Northridge. In addition to teaching, I also work full-time as a store manager at Starbucks in Los Feliz.  

My experience includes working as a tutor and lab assistant for biology and chemistry labs while I was attending CSUN. I believe hands-on learning is crucial for students to gain a solid foundation in the sciences. In my classes, I strive to create an interactive and supportive environment where students can explore experiments, ask questions, and build confidence in their lab skills. I'm excited to help students develop a passion for science and discovery through my teaching.
