Biography

Emily Larson-McQuaid has been a Physician Assistant since 2017 after graduating from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL with a Masters of Medical Sciences. She has been practicing in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care for over 5 years. Prior to PA school, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from UC San Diego in 2014. Emily appreciates the collaborative effort it takes to work in an emergency department to deliver safe, efficient, and quality care. She initially started working with PA students in the clinical setting during their Emergency Medicine rotations, where she learned she enjoyed working with students and helping people grow professionally. Emily is a certified Physician Assistant by the NCCPA as well as a member of AAPA (American Academy of Physician Associates). She is also a NCAA Softball National Champion from UC San Diego. She enjoys spending time watching softball games, and spending time with friends and family.
