Biography

Dr. Jan Redmond is a Research Physiologist. She served in the Military Performance Division of the United States Army Research Institute for Environmental Medicine (USARIEM) in Natick, MA. Dr. Redmond served as a Lead Investigator and Associate Investigator on several large field studies involving Soldier performance while at USARIEM including the development and validation of the Occupational Physical Assessment Test. More recently, her work has focused on assessing Soldier readiness to return to duty. She has presented and published her work on Soldier performance and readiness. Dr. Redmond is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT). In addition, she sat on the NSCA-CPT Exam Development Committee and the NSCA Research Committee. Currently, she a member of the TSAC-F Exam Development Committee.
