Biography

Dr. Gonzalez graduated from Cal State University Fullerton in 2006 where she earned a bachelor’s of science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Clinical Exercise Science.  She went on to graduate from Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS), earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2010.  Soon after, she became the first female resident in the Sports Medicine Residency at SCUHS, obtained her CCSP® in 2011, and her DACBSP® in 2013.  Dr. Gonzalez has worked at SCUHS in many capacities including: as the Sports Medicine Education Coordinator,  7th term clinician,  part-time faculty in the Principles and Practice Department, and lead faculty for the Beginning Field Observation, Beginning Field Experience, Expanded Clinic selectives, and in her current role as a Base clinician at the University of California, Irvine.
