Biography
Dr. Jason Reynolds completed his Biology/Chemistry degree in May 2005 from the University of Redlands, and his Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2008 from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He went on to complete a 2-year Sports Medicine Residency earning his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP) and his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B). Dr. Reynolds’ Olympic and Paralympic involvement began early in his career through the support of various NGB’s during his residency program from 2009-2011. After residency, from 2012-2014 Dr. Reynolds taught in the principles and practice department at SCU while growing a private practice and continuing to serve various Olympic and Paralympic NGB’s. In 2014 Dr. Reynolds began contracting with the Sports Medicine clinic at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. During that time, he also served as the sports medicine director for USA Men’s Field Hockey, and as a healthcare provider for USA Beach Volleyball. In 2017, he joined the USOPC sports medicine division full time with winter sports athletes in Salt Lake City, Utah until 2019. Dr. Reynolds returned to Chula Vista, CA at the Olympic Training Center working in the summer sport world leading up to the 2020 Tokyo Games. Jason returned to Salt Lake City in 2021 to work with US Speedskating as a Medical provider on their sports medicine team as well as returning as adjunct faculty for SCU teaching sports medicine selectives that same year. Dr. Reynolds is a private practitioner in Salt Lake City and the Wood River Valley in central Idaho. He has an amazing wife Kristi, two daughters Björk and Joelle, and two dogs Lola and Cusco.
