Dr. Jeff Godun is a Clinical Faculty member, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and Assistant Professor at Southern California University of Health Sciences. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Godun brings a wealth of knowledge in clinical quality improvement, healthcare management, and chiropractic care.

As a supervisor in the campus clinic, Dr. Godun oversees clinical students, mentoring them in evidence-based clinical decision making, professional patient interaction, and treatment skill development. He is passionate about hands-on patient care, focusing on therapies, soft tissue manipulation, and osseous manipulation.

Dr. Godun has played a crucial role in developing and implementing a comprehensive clinical quality assurance program at the university. His efforts have supported the chiropractic program in attaining full accreditation from the Council on Chiropractic Education.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Godun held leadership positions at OptumHealth, where he managed national physical health services and led cross-functional teams in regulatory compliance and product development. His expertise extends to utilization management, appeals processes, and quality improvement in managed healthcare settings.

Dr. Godun holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology from the University of Alberta. He is Six-Sigma Green Belt certified and has completed various professional development programs, including CITI Program Human Subject Research and Biomedical Research.

Outside of his academic role, Dr. Godun serves on the Board of Directors for Ride Across California, an organization that trains 5th graders for a 280-mile bicycle tour. His commitment to healthcare excellence and student development makes him a valuable asset to our institution.
