Biography

I plan to continue working as a yoga therapist in private practice, clinical healthcare systems, and academia. I have a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from MUIH and did my clinical internship at John Hopkins hospital Howard County General at the bedside in oncology and acute care. I work primarily with oncology, ASD, PTSD, and musculoskeletal conditions. My work has been vetted through international research symposiums, especially my work with ASD. I have taught for over a decade, which boils down to about 28+k hours of therapeutic movement, and I've been working for Universities for over 12 years (MCCC, MUIH, SCU). I enjoy the classroom because each semester brings new students with new interests and backgrounds- we may never solve problems. Still, the discussion is rich with ideas and new perspectives, and we encourage each other to view integrative medicine differently in the healing process.
