Dr. Ziebart has been a chemistry professor since 2012, at various institutions in California and Oregon. She has taught General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, both lecture and laboratory, via in-person and online formats. Dr. Ziebart enjoys working with students, helping them learn chemistry as they work to acheive their educational and career goals. Biochemistry is a particular passion and favorite subject to teach. Within biochemistry, we see the ultimate application of all the concepts of General and Organic Chemistry. Biological systems are incredibly complex, sophisticated and intricate - and our bodies carry out thousands of chemical reactions every second in an unbelievably well-coordinated and well-regulated manner. The power and cleverness of Nature is impressive and humbling.
