Biography

Lauri Phillips is a healthcare executive and Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with over 25 years of leadership in Whole Health, program development and implementation, clinical care and administrative positions. Previously, Lauri served as a Senior Director at the Whole Health Institute where she was responsible for conceptualizing strategy, management, oversight, and development of both the institute's nutrition strategy as well as the Whole Health standard setting and credentialing effort.  Prior to this role, Lauri served as the Associate Director, Whole Health System Development for the Veterans Health Administration’s Office of Patient Centered Care & Cultural Transformation. In this role, she led the overall innovation strategy including recommending the design and overseeing the subsequent implementation and standardization of the Whole Health System at the largest integrated health care system in the nation. This undertaking represents one of the most massive changes in the philosophy and process for healthcare delivery ever undertaken by an organized healthcare system. Additionally, Lauri led the development of Veteran and Staff engagement strategies, tools, and educational resources to advance this transformation.  She is recognized as a national subject matter expert in Whole Health. 

Lauri’s background includes both public and private sector healthcare experience in hospital operations and nutritional care. She has extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams and creating and implementing programs on a local, regional, and national level. Lauri has a particular interest in functional and regenerative nutrition and the intersection of food, health, and the environment.  Â
