Biography

Dr. Leili Hatami was born and raised in IRAN, and has always had a passion for teaching in the medical field. She graduated from the University of Tehran, IRAN in Jun 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. She continued her education and graduated from Tehran university in September 2001 with a master of science in anatomical sciences. Then completed her Ph.D. in anatomical sciences in January 2006. She has worked as a medical school professor for about 10 years in Iran.  She taught gross anatomy, human embryology, medical histology, and physiology.  After immigrating to the US, She has worked as a tutor and faculty member to teach anatomy & physiology & human biology for more than 4 years in different colleges and universities. She has also worked as a volunteer research assistant in the UCI, nephrology department for about 2 years. Why She does what She does: She cannot think of a time when she wanted to do anything other than teaching. She strives every day to be an exceptional teacher like her parents, her role models, and make positive experiences to impact students' lives.
