Biography
Eric (Lung-Cheng) Hsiao, Ph.D (China). LAc is a Professor of the Department of Eastern Medicine at Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU). He has his Ph.D. in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Internal Chinese Medicine) from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (BUTCM). He belongs to the first cohort of 5 years Clinical Medicine Ph.D. program in this field. He completed his Bachelor’s of Medicine ( MD) degree in the Internal Chinese Medicine program from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Hsiao has been in Healthcare education and research for more than 20 years. His research areas include Chinese Herbal Medicine for Hyperlipidemia and Coronary Heart Disease. Dr. Hsiao is a published author of several peer-reviewed papers and a co-principal investigator of several clinical trials. In addition, he also presented papers and lectured on Traditional Chinese Medicine at several national conferences.
