Biography

Marylou Garcia DC currently works as part-time faculty in the Chiropractic department at SCU, where she also graduated in 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic.  She is passionate about helping students learning the hands-on part of chiropractic care.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on clinical exercise, and is also a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist and Certified Massage Therapist.  She has been a massage therapist for over 17 years, and now incorporates this as well as corrective exercises into her current practice.  Her private practice is located in Tustin, CA.  She has taken numerous continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest chiropractic methods available such as: Fix Your Own Back, McGill Level 2 certified, Neurodynamics Level 1 & 2 certified, multiple Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization certifications, amongst many others.  She also works with local gyms in Orange County to teach workshops for personal trainers, as well as members, so they can continue to exercise safely and know when to refer to a medical professional for more help.
