Biography
Nicholas Wertz is a part-time adjunct faculty at SCUHS who teaches Microbiology Lab and Anatomy & Physiology Lab. He received his Bachelor's degree in Microbiology at California State University, Northridge and is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Biology at CSUN. His current research focuses on better understanding antibiotic resistance in E. coli and how to combat the issue. Nicholas also received an Associate's degree in Biology from College of the Canyons. Aside from SCUHS, he also assists in lab courses at Cal State Northridge including Intro to Microbiology and Microbial Physiology. His future goals include pursuing a PhD. and continue his research career in either microbiology or biotechnology.
