Biography
Born and raised in Egypt and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Kasr El Aini medical school, Cairo University, in 1984, then specialized in orthopedic surgery. A few years later, he decided to focus on his various creative talents: piano, music production, translation, teaching piano and music theory, audio engineering and audio restoration, and digital music technology. He composed and recorded music for different Arabic Christian singers and groups, Christian Radio, and TV, and produced 12 instrumental worship music albums so far.

Dr. Baheeg immigrated to the USA in 2005 with his wife and two kids to join a nonprofit multinational outreach organization based in California.
In 2010, Dr. Baheeg’s passion for the medical field was swiftly and deeply rekindled again, but on the scientific academic side this time, combining his communication skills and passion for learning and teaching with an increasing love for the biomedical Sciences and how the human body really works. So, he joined West Coast Ultrasound Institute, WCUI (2011 - 2020) to teach anatomy, physiology, pathology, medical terminology, and EKG, among other subjects, for ultrasound and nursing students.
Between 2014 and 2016, with a special interest in cardiology, he joined USC Keck Hospital as an EKG tech, to learn the latest procedures of EKG and cardiac stress testing practices to educate his WCUI EKG students, where his last position was lead Medical Instructor and Regional Director of EKG Education.
In 2021, Dr. Baheeg joined SCU as Biological Sciences Instructional Lead Faculty while working as part-time General Education instructor of biomedical sciences at Stanbridge University, Irvine, CA.
Between 2022 and Feb 2024, his position at Stanbridge was fulltime Faculty and Co-Chair of Biomedical Sciences, as he developed and taught the pathophysiology course for Bachelor of Nursing Students.
Over the years of teaching and studying, he got passionate about functional nutrition and holistic medicine, and started applying and educating the public (on one of his Facebook groups) about ketogenic lifestyle and the major effects of nutrition and lifestyle choices on human health. This has helped restore health and wellness of so many people over the years.
Recently, Dr. Baheeg rejoined SCU recently a fulltime University Faculty at LACC, primarily teaching physiology to students of the DC program, where his real scientific passion finds ultimate satisfaction, since being at LACC is a strategic place to impact the life of future holistic healthcare professionals, hoping to restore people’s health.
Dr. Baheeg’s rich experience as faculty over the last 13 years keeps refining his approach and techniques, as he explains complex subjects to diverse groups from all walks of life. He believes that respect, genuine care, passion, and continuous support can be felt, and those who follow his coaching and guidance thank him a lot later.
