Biography
Dr. Herrera graduated from SCUHS in 2002. He was the inaugural Sports Medicine resident at SCUHS completing the program in 2007. Dr. Herrera has worked primarily in Occupational Medicine for more than 15 years in a multi-disciplinary setting.
He holds a BS from Cal Poly, an Executive MBA from the Naval Post Graduate School and a Certificate of Completion in Systems Technology from the Air University Command and Staff College.
Dr. Herrera is also a Captain in the Navy Reserves having served 3 tours in the Middle East, 3 tours in the Asia/IndoPacific region and a tour at the Pentagon.Â
