Dr. Kono is a highly motivated DC who ran three chiropractic practices which specialized in personal injury, group health insurance, workman’s comp, and cash based patients.  His passion for the chiropractic profession and education is contagious, and he strives to recognize each student’s uniqueness to learn and what it takes for that individual to achieve their goals.  He has been treating personal injury patients since 1997 and is well versed in expert witness testimony and depositions.  He is a part time instructor for Southern California University of Health Sciences and has been teaching Irene Gold Associates chiropractic board reviews since 1998.  He currently teaches full time at Cleveland University Kansas City and has lectured throughout the United States at various chiropractic colleges.  He also teachs a hybrid course in Medical Terminology at Johnson County Community College of Overland Park, Kansas.  Because of his background in the entertainment field as a professional magician, he is able to take even the most boring material and bring it to life making any environment a fun place to learn.
