Biography

Dr. Sitra Esmaili earned a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran in 2011. She worked as an assistant professor in Shiraz Payamme Noor University, Iran from 2012 to 2017 when she proficiently delivered lectures in multiple courses including: ‘Crystallography’, ‘Physical Properties of Materials I & II’, ‘Statics’, ‘Mechanics of Materials’, ‘Physical Chemistry’ and ‘Thermodynamics’. Dr. Esmaili has been teaching ‘Physics 4A’ and ‘Principle of Materials Science and Engineering’ in Irvine Valley College from January 2020 as an adjunct professor. She joined the SCUHS in 2022.

Her research has been focused on ‘Pulse electrodeposition of copper/permalloy multilayers and the study of their giant-magnetoresistance’ from which articles has been published in renowned journals.
