Biography
Steven is an Irvine native and enjoys living in southern California. He is a former IVC student and attended UC San Diego for all of his higher education. In 2010, Steven completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Cell Biology. He later switched to the field of chemistry where he earned his Master of Science in Chemistry and Doctorate in Chemistry.Â
Steven has a plethora of teaching experience working at both the university and community college level. He was a full-time instructor at Oregon State University, Santiago Canyon College, and Southern California University of Health Sciences. Steven has also worked as an adjunct faculty at UC Irvine, Vanguard University, and Southwestern College.
Steven has served on the SLO Committee, Online Education Task Force, Compressed Calendar Task Force, Grade Grievance, and is the co-advisor of Chem-Unity, the IVC chemistry club.Â
 In his spare time, Steven enjoys mountain biking, playing basketball, and serving his Catholic community, specifically, the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement (VEYM). Steven aspires to one day retire early, own his own coffee shop, and become a real estate mogul.
