vaidya Suhas Kumar Shetty, is an Ayurveda practitioner, academician, researcher & administrator who is specialized in Mental health, research methodology, and medical statistics with experience of over 20 yrs. 
Currently, he holds the post of Principal and Medical Director at KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER)’s Shri BM Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Belagavi. Formerly he was Professor & Head, Dept. of Mano Vijnana Avum Manasa Roga (Ayurveda Psychology and Psychiatry) and Dean (Research & Development) at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara (SDM) College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan, India. He is also an adjunct faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences, California, USA. He is in the editorial & review boards of many scientific journals. He has to his credit three books & more than 72 scientific articles in various international peer reviewed journals. He is the recipient of various academic awards for his contribution in Ayurvedic medicine. He is an invited technical expert in various national and International policy documents and consultation meetings like WHO, CCIM, CCRAS etc.
