Yvette Walton is the OTD Academic Enrichment Manager for Evidence in Motion and currently resides in TX. She has led, taught, and mentored OT students for over 30 years within traditional, accelerated, and hybrid programs, as well as in clinical settings. Yvette’s clinical areas of expertise are neurorehabilitation and upper-extremity rehabilitation. Her alma maters of Chicago State and Texas A&M University have taught her that lifelong learning is vital for professional growth and that with the proper curricular foundation and support, all students can learn. Her experience working in adult education has provided her with the opportunity to find innovative ways to encourage success within diverse student populations. When not managing the OTD curriculum for EIM, Yvette can be found relaxing, working out, engaging in indoor gardening, or touring new construction homes.
