Fitches Scholarship Application

The Fitches Scholarship was created for all entering students who are members of a congregation traditionally associated with the Churches of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). This scholarship will be awarded in the Fall term. $10k will be awarded for clinical professional programs or $5k awarded for non-clinical. Ayurveda is not eligible. 2-3 Scholarships can be awarded, and the scholarships will be distributed over the published length of the program.

Criteria:

Membership Verification: Applicants must provide evidence of membership in a congregation affiliated with the Churches of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).
Letter of Recommendation: LDS applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a church leader (Ward Leader, Elder, etc.) of the LDS Ward to which they belong.
Academic Standing: Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
Enrollment Status: Applicants must be currently enrolled as full-time students in any undergraduate or graduate program at Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) and maintain continuous enrollment throughout the academic year.
