Robert Svoboda is the first Westerner ever to graduate from a college of Ayurveda and be licensed to practice Ayurveda in India. He is one of the pioneer in the field of Ayurveda in the US. During and after his formal Ayurvedic training he was tutored in Ayurveda, Yoga, Jyotish, Tantra and other forms of classical Indian lore by his mentor, the Aghori Vimalananda. He is the author of over a dozen books and has served as Adjunct Faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM, and at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. Professor Anup Thakar is Vice Chancellor (I/c) at Gujarat Ayurved University, and Director at the Institute of Teaching & Research in Ayurveda. He is a renowned academician and researcher in the field of Ayurveda for more than 20 years. He has published more than a hundred papers on various aspects of Ayurveda. Professor Thakar has supervised around 75 doctoral and 25 post-doctoral thesis. He has delivered more than a hundred keynote/guest lecturers in various part of world for the promotion and propagation of Ayurveda. In addition, he has worked with the WHO on various projects like development of a simple Ayurvedic formation for management of common ailments, preparing a benchmark document for Ayurveda practice, benchmarks for Panchakarma practice, and development of I.C.D. terminology for Ayuveda inclusion in ICD-11. He has been awarded a WHO Fellowship on “Information, Education and Communication (IEC) in public health” and also has been conferred by the Fellowship of National Academy of Ayurveda, Ministry of AYUSH, Government Of India. He has received the Gaveshakaratna award as The Best Research Supervisor. Professor Thakar has also traveled around 15 countries like Japan, UK, France Switzerland, Germany, Hungary including USA for promotion and propagation of the science of Ayurveda.

Prof. Dr. Tanuja Nesari, BAMS, MD (Ayu), PhD (Ayu) is a Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). She is the Chair for the Health Sector sub-skill Council for AYUSH and a member of Governing Council of IMS, BHU. Dr. Nesari is also a member of the General Assembly of ICCR, a Member of the Board of Governors, CCIM and serves on the academic board of various universities like ITRA, Jamnagar & National Academic and Research Bodies. She serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of CCRAS and domain expert of the Technical Screening Committee (TSC) of NMPB. Her influential leadership has brought more than 20 MOUs into the credit of AIIA. She played a key role in converting AIIA Hospital, New Delhi into COVID Healthcare Centre, where the patients are being provided holistic Ayurveda treatment.

Vaidya David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri) is a Vedic teacher (Vedacharya) and author of forty published books on Yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedic studies that have been translated into twenty languages worldwide. He also writes on educational and civilizational concerns relative to India and Vedic culture. He has received a Padma Bhushan award from the President of India, D.Litt (Doctor of Letters) from S-VYASA University and from Ram Manohar Lohia Ayodhya University, and a National Eminence Award from SIES (South Indian Education Society). He is director of the American Institute of Vedic Studies in the United States (www.vedanet.com), which offers training in Vedic knowledge systems, including online courses with numerous students worldwide. He frequently visits India and is associated with many Vedic organizations in different countries. He is regarded as one of the pioneers in the global spread of Yoga and Ayurveda over the last several decades, and has been influential in promoting a new view of the Vedas as a global heritage. He has worked with many Ayurvedic groups in the United States including NAMA, the California College of Ayurveda, and the Chopra Center. He has been affiliated with the Center for Soft Power in India since its inception.
