Doctor of Whole Health Leadership

Admissions Requirements

Applicants for the Doctor of Whole Health Leadership degree must meet the following admissions standards. Applicants who do not meet all requirements may be admitted with the approval of the Program Director or Dean; exceptions are made on an individual basis. Enrollment is limited. Applicants are encouraged to apply early and qualified applicants will be accepted into cohorts on a rolling basis.

  • Be one of the following:
    • A licensed clinician or practitioner with an active license from one of the following professions: Advanced Practice Nurse, Chiropractor, Dentist, Licensed Acupuncturist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Medical Doctor, Naturopathic Doctor, Occupational Therapist, Osteopathic Doctor, Pharmacist, Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant, Podiatrist, Psychologist, Registered Dietician. If your license is not listed please contact Admissions.
    • A licensed Registered Nurse or certified Midwives with an active license and at least 30 graduate level credit hours beyond the baccalaureate.
    • A healthcare administrators or educator with a master’s degree and at least three years leadership experience in a healthcare related field.
  • Students seeking to enter the AIHM Fellowship Track must also be admitted into the AIHM Fellowship.  Visit the AIHM Fellowship admissions requirements.
  • Students seeking to enter the Integrative Medicine Fellows Track must provide proof of graduation from an Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health-approved Fellowship (ACIMH).
  • Students seeking to enter the Administrator, Educator, or Non-Fellow Track must submit a current resume.
  • Provide a personal statement of no more than 250 words describing why the program fits your personal and professional goals.
  • Some applicants may be asked to participate in an interview.
