The Office of Institutional and Academic Insights (IAI)

SCU currently uses Qualtrics to conduct End of Course Evaluations. Current policy is that the window for evaluating opens 80% of the way through the course and ends eight days later. Results are available to instructors after grades are due.

Qualtrics creates dashboards for instructors that compare their results with the average in their program. It also creates aggregate reports for Program Directors and the Provost.

Each summer IAI extracts the previous year’s responses and joins them with information about students and faculty and conducts an in-depth statistical analysis.
